Kitchen 1:
This kitchen was a huge transformation. After removing the old kitchen, we made the necessary repairs to the walls and floor. We were having trouble finding the exact size and style cabinets we needed to make this kitchen perfect. We worked together with a 3D model to design the exact look that we wanted. I built all the cabinets and doors and added soft close hinges and drawer slides to everything. We even added in a trash can drawer at the end of the counter, and replaced the old window above the sink to allow for a better view. After the countertops were installed by a local company, I installed the backsplash. Both the customer and I are very happy with the look and improved function of this kitchen.

Kitchen 2:
We removed the floor to ceiling cabinet, pass-thru window, and built-in desk. We built a walk-in pantry and coffee bar in that space to increase storage and improve the overall flow of the kitchen. I removed the old backsplash and drywall, replacing it with cement board before tiling and grouting. I also removed the popcorn ceiling, patched a few holes and re-textured and painted. We added some LED accent and task lighting above and below the cabinets.
New backsplash, I also modified the cabinet doors under the sink so they would fit under the apron sink. We also added the modified balusters to tie into the rest of the house.

Kitchen 3:
I removed the wall oven and cooktop, replacing them with a standard range. I also removed the tall oven cabinet and built a new upper and lower in place. This created almost 3 feet of counter space, as well as an increase in storage. I also built a custom hidden trash can drawer, creating an additional 2 feet of counter space. I removed the 36" range hood, replacing it with a 30" microwave and vent fan. The additional 6" allowed me to create a customized pull-out spice rack. I removed all of the paneling above the upper cabinets, fixed the ceiling and made some crown molding to finish off the top of the cabinets. I also installed lighting above the cabinets, which allowed for a more open and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, I stripped and painted the cabinet bodies, installed new counters and backsplash, built new cabinet doors, tiled the floor, and painted.
Kitchen 4:
I removed the old backsplash, and covered the drywall with 1/4" cement board to help waterproof and give the new tile a sturdy base. The drywall was in good shape, so I went this route instead of my usual route of removing and replacing the drywall with 1/2" cement board. Since the backsplash is hidden on both ends, the extra depth wasn't an issue. After that was done, I installed the subway tile with the white Schluter strip border, providing a nice clean look. I used an epoxy type grout which is permanently sealed, in order to make every day cleanup and maintenance as easy as possible for many years to come!
